Catering Policies and Procedures
We have a designated time frame for placing orders. Any order placed outside of the listed time frame will incur a rush fee ranging from $50–$200, depending on the size and complexity of the order.
Private Chef Experiences are available for parties of 20 guests or fewer and are subject to special pricing. Please contact us for additional details.
Small catering orders (25–50 guests) must be placed at least 7 business days in advance to avoid additional fees.
Medium catering orders (51–100 guests) must be placed at least 14 business days in advance to avoid additional fees.
Large catering orders (100–200 guests) must be placed at least 2 months in advance to avoid additional fees and require an immediate staffing fee of $1,000 for a full staff.
XL catering orders (200+ guests) must be booked at least 3 months in advance to avoid additional fees and require an immediate staffing fee of $1,500 for a full staff.
A $25 non-refundable consultation fee is required prior to any inquiry. This fee will be applied toward your final balance should you choose to move forward with booking.
A 50% non-refundable retainer is due on the day of booking to secure your event date and time. Please note that bookings fill quickly, and reminder notices may not be sent. If another client secures the requested date before the retainer has been paid, the invoice will be voided, as the date and time will no longer be available.
Full payment is due no later than 7 business days prior to the event date (14 business days prior for events exceeding 50 guests).
Failure to submit the remaining balance by the required deadline will result in forfeiture of the retainer and cancellation of all services associated with the event.
All services and payments are non-refundable. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us immediately, as customer satisfaction is extremely important to us.
In the highly unlikely event that the Chef must cancel, you will be notified as soon as possible and issued a 100% refund within 24–48 hours. We will also provide recommendations for an alternative caterer and assist with checking availability if possible.
Payment signifies agreement to all terms and conditions and releases Better Taste By Bri from any liability pertaining to your event. This includes, but is not limited to, allergic reactions, misuse, or any other related claims.
All meat temperatures are carefully monitored and documented for quality assurance purposes. Our Chef is ServSafe Certified, fully licensed, and insured to safely prepare and handle your order.
