MEET THE OWNER

Better Taste by Bri is a Southern Cuisine Catering Business founded by Brianna Tate. During the middle of a Global Pandemic (COVID-19) she found a safe way to serve family with new creations due to all of the shut downs. This ignited a brand new vision for Brianna and her business. Fast forward to 2024/2025 Brianna purchased and opened a Food Truck!

We now offer mainly Southern/American Cuisine but never shy away from a wide variety of options for catering. Servicing events such as Weddings, Baby Showers, Retirement Parties, Brunches, etc. 

 

This business is greatly inspired by the cooking of Brianna's Grandmother Juanita Tate who passed away in 2017. Each meal also contains a lesson taught by Brianna's Grandmother "Dee Dee" and Mother Trilaine, as well. Brianna is also a former attendee of the Johnson and Wales University Culinary Arts Program. Her time spent learning proper techniques and business protocol has allowed her to move forward in her entrepreneurial journey. 

 

At 28 years old, Brianna desires for all to know that there is absolutely nothing that you can't do. Better Taste by Bri being her second of four launched businesses, is a perfect testament to that. She has twice been featured in Voyage Raleigh Magazine, you can see her latest interview here.
